Evan, I think I'm going to get the 17", 2.4GHz variant. For music apps, I like the idea of the big screen, even though I know battery life will suffer. Haven't made up my mind for sure. In fact, I think I'm going to email you a question or two...
The 17" would be a wonderful choice. I've got the 17" 2.33ghz model and I absolutely love it. If you're anything like me it will be plugged into the wall most of the time so battery life won't be an issue. I even purchased a 2nd battery and haven't really used it. Send me your questions and I'll do my best to help out!
